From Long Island, New York. Ray got his musical start at an early age, singing in the school choir in the fourth grade and continuing through high school. While in high school he turned his attention to drums and percussion playing in the stage band as well as the marching band. Ray has studied with Dave Diamond (Rainbow Trout, Zen Tricksters, Wide Awake), Rob Hart, and Michael Spiro (Talking Drums). Though only in the San Francisco Bay Area for the past four years Ray has wasted no time getting involved with the music scene. He has played drums and percussion with many Bay Area bands including Roadhouse, Georgi and the Rough Week, as well as performing with the Josh Williamson Band as the support act for Joe Louis Walker at San Jose's prestigious
