Two Swan Songs for June Stanley
Posted on Saturday, September 04, 2004 - 07:06 PM
June Stanley is retiring after running JJís Blues lounge for 21 years. The GLRBR will be doing two shows in October as June brings a close to her time at JJís. The GLRBR has been a frequent fixture at the club for the last 5 years and brings in a good crowd of friends and fans to see their fusion of blues, jazz and groove oriented music with a touch of country and gospel to round it out. GLRBR is one of the most diverse bands in the music business. GLRBR has been compared to the Allman Brothers, Santana, The Grateful Dead and NRBQ. Come out Thursday Oct 7th and Oct 28th 2004 for two great nights of music and to wish June a great retirement. Check out GLRBRís website at

Would you like to help promote some upcoming GLRBR shows? You would? Hey, that's cool!

We have prepared posters and postcards for several upcoming shows -- you can download them, print them out, hang them up and pass them around! Let's get the word out, and get a big crowd at these upcoming shows.

You can find the posters in Powerpoint format in our Media Gallery in the Artwork section.

See you at the shows and we really appreciate the help!
