Ron Tomasello & Friends – Catman - JJ's Blues Lounge

Back in 1983 Ron Tomasello brought his newly created band “The Gaslighters” into JJ's Blues Lounge and a music and business relationship was created. That relationship still flourishes today as Ron has performed hundreds of shows at this world renown Blues Club. From the Gaslighters first shows at JJ's Ron has also backed Blues Organist Deacon Jones and was Larry “Arkansas” Davis musical director for a time while backing him in the late 80's. Ron went on to create GLRBR with long time musical soul-mate Jeff “Hawkeye” Sanders. Now Ron has taken off on some new musical directions with his Trio Ron Tomasello & Friends and is exploration of traditional Blues as “Catman” Ron has been a part of the JJ's home scene for 28 years. “It's the longest job I've ever held and I must be doing something right if I can come back for 28 years and give the crowd at JJ's my brand of American music”

This Month Ron has two shows at the legendary Blues establishment. On Wednesday December 14th Ron will return with the trio for their once a month performance and then on Friday December 30th Ron will return as “Catman” to open for local blues greats “Tip of the Top”.
